- [Narrator] So, we're going to start by setting up our own custom library. You may recall that I said that you want to keep your library away from SOLIDWORKS so that if you run updates, reinstall SOLIDWORKS. Create a new installation of SOLIDWORKS that doesn't blow away all your hard work. I want to bring your attention to where the library is again. It's on this resource bar. And it's where the stack of books it. So you want to press on that tab that's going to open up that resource bar, so you can see the design library. And you can see SOLIDWORKS comes with a design library. And it's got a bunch of stuff in it. And if you've never gone in and looked at it, you can see there's already some cool stuff that comes inside of SOLIDWORKS. And you can kind of go through and look at what SOLIDWORKS has in their design library. And get ideas for your own library. So you can see they've got some whole patterns and linear patterns too.
