- [Instructor] So, let's take a look at the different ways we can create and associate our components. To begin, let's use a relater contactor as an example. We're just going to start by inserting the components, so I'll go to line diagram, enter symbol, and other symbol. Now go to a contactor, let's say. You're going to grab this contactor as my line diagram symbol. And say select and I'll just place it in my line diagram drawing. Again, jumps into my automatic symbol properties window. I can edit whatever properties I'd like or I'll just say okay to create a new component K1, so by default whenever inserting a symbol that's going to create a new component, or be tied to an existing component if there was any. In this case, I have no existing components. It's my first symbol, my first component. So, I just say okay and now just created a brand new electrical component in this project.
