Creating groups
- [Instructor] If you're going to work with a bunch of parts and you want them to all move together, or you want the ability to manipulate a bunch of parts at one time, we want to establish a group. Groups are pretty easy to create. Go ahead and just choose some objects over here holding down the Control button so I can group a bunch of these things together, all those pieces here. And then right down below that, you can see there is 5 Parts Selected. They are visible. I can hide them or show them. Or I can create a new group. Or I can merge these parts together to become one part. So I have a whole bunch of options. But if I click on New Group, here that is, now it's called Part Group number one. I can rename that if I'd like to right over here. So we'll call that G1 for Group One. And then I can just hide that whole thing at one time. Or I can move that whole thing at one time. And if I want to come up here, for instance, under Object Manipulation Tools, I can select not just…
