Creating multiple planes at once

- [Narrator] Have you ever wanted to make multiple planes at the same time and slice through a model? Well there's a couple tools inside of SOLIDWORKS you might not know about which make this really easy to do, so the first one I want to point out here is under reference geometry, under regular plane, if you choose something like the bottom of this part right here, I can just create an offset plane and the number of planes that I can create right here and I'm going to type in something like 10 millimeters. I can see right down here and go ahead and flip that around, flip the offset here, and notice I can put a value in here. I can just create a bunch of planes all at the same time by typing in a value here and it's going to make all those planes at one time very quickly and here they all area, so it's a quick way to make a bunch of planes and then you can do something like intersect them together or create surfaces…
