Creating ordinate dimensions

- Ordinate dimensions are a great way to add a lot of dimensions in a small space. To get to started let's go up to Annotations, click on Smart Dimension and click on the dropdown directly below it, and you can see here I've got a horizontal as well as a vertical ordinate dimension. Let's start with horizontal, I'm going to choose the baseline, where do I want all those dimensions to start from? I'm going to choose this edge right here, click on that and then drag the little 0 down to where you want to place the dimensions, and then just click on the individual items you want to place dimensions for. I can go all the way across this part and very quickly add a lot of dimensions. Find the center point of that, this one, that one, and that one. There they all are, if you want to rearrange them just click on any one of them and drag it down. Something like this, you can see it's finding the center of that arc, so I can choose a center mark, and maybe add it to this one here, or maybe…
