Creating revolved features
- Revolve features have most of the same requirements as Extrude features. We need a sketch, but we have one more requirement, we need a Centerline, or something we need to revolve that shape around. Let's give you an example. First things first, under Sketch, I'm going to start a brand new Sketch, I'm going to choose the Front Plane, and let's just go ahead and create a very simple Rectangle. Click once, click again, place the Rectangle, and now, I'm going to place a few different Lines, but instead of a regular Line, I'm going to choose a Centerline. So, starting at the origin, I'm going to start a Line going straight up. There's my Centerline. I'm also going to create a couple other Lines. If you happen to create a Line by accident, just click on Delete. Go back up to Line, go to Centerline, and click and drag, drag that out. Do one more, I'm going to click, and drag one over here, and click and drag one over here. All right, I've added a bunch of Centerlines to this part now. I'm…
