Creating swept shapes

- [Instructor] When you think about a sweep, think about something that has a uniform cross-section and it's being driven along a certain path, almost like the hose or a wire or something like that. Now, generally, you're going to be using something like a circle or a square or some kind of simple shape, and then you'll probably have a more complex path that it will be going through. Think about it almost like a wire routing through a device or something along those lines. It's just a simple, circular profile, but your path, or where it's going, could be very complicated. So in this example here, we've got a very simple shape, which is just a square at the bottom, or a rectangle, and we've got this path of a hanger that we're going to be creating. So the first thing that I want to do is choose that path and that profile. But before we do that, let's head up here to the Swept Boss or Base, and notice the icon over here.
