Creating your first view

- [Instructor] One of the most important aspects of SOLIDWORKS Composer is generating views. These are the snapshots we'll be using to help generate our technical documentation. Now, to generate a view, I'll just want to jump into my Views tab. And here, I have a number of icons I can take a look at, and the first one here kind of looks like a camera with the flash going off. And I can just click on that button to create my first view. Alternatively, Control + E is the hotkey to generate this view. As soon as I click that button, you can see my first view coming in here. And they're automatically named view one, view two, view three, and so on. But most likely, I'll want to rename this view, give it a bit more of a description. So I can just right-click and navigate to Rename View, and maybe I'll call this My first view. Similarly, maybe I will zoom in slightly to my project here and again just create another view.
