Custom display states

- [Instructor] Creating custom display states inside of SOLIDWORKS can be very powerful when you have a complex assembly or part design with multiple bodies and you want to take a look at various areas or only various components included in that assembly. Imagine that you're preparing an assembly package for manufacture. You want to create multiple views showing the steps at which something's assembled. Potentially, you can use various display states using the same model without having to do any work with complex configurations to get your point across. Let me show you what I mean. In this assembly that I've got on the screen, I've created a few various display states. By going over to the Configuration manager, I can see down in the bottom the various display states that I've already created. If I double-click on any of them, it activates them.
