Custom properties
- [Instructor] As you get farther and farther along in your designs, it might be important to include some extra information in the background that you'll want to access when creating, for example, drawings, or bills or materials, or other tables related to the part assembly or other file that you've created inside of SolidWorks. So for this part file, for example, we're going to take a look at the custom properties that it contains. To find the custom properties we go up to File and click on Properties. You can also click on the File Properties button here at the top. Now when you do that, it'll bring up one of three tabs. So there's the Summary, the Custom, and then the Configuration Specific properties that we want to track in the background.
