Customize keyboard shortcuts

- [Instructor] After looking at what the S key can do for us it only makes sense that we take a look at the other keyboard shortcuts that are available and how to customize them. Now, by default SolidWorks comes with a set of keyboard shortcuts already assigned. To take a look at what those are, you can right-click in the command ribbon, go to Customize, and then swing over to the Keyboard tab. Now here it gives you a few different ways to see what all the shortcuts are. Taking just a quick look, you can see here that we have a category, a command, what the shortcut is, and what you want for a search in case you're looking for that shortcut. So for example, if you want to open up a new file, you can hit Control + N on your keyboard, and that's going to open up a new file. If you want to simply open a file, you can hit Control + O.
