Customize mouse gestures

- [Instructor] The final command-related customizations that we want to look into are mouse gestures. Now we all know how to use our mouse typically in SOLIDWORKS. We use the left mouse button, we select items, we right-click on things on the feature tree to pull up menus, but you can also hold down the right mouse button, and then move it, and then this will bring up your mouse gestures. And depending on which direction you move, that's going to pull up the command associated. So you can see here I have four gestures in the north south east west quadrant, and if I go to the right, it's going to pull up the right view. Now if I do that again, I'm going to hold down my right mouse button and go to the left. When I release, that pulls up the opposite view. And I can do the same thing for the top, and I can also do that for the bottom view as well. Now the mouse gestures can be a little finicky, so when you're holding down…
