Coping features
- [Instructor] Let's now take a look at designing Link3 for our robotic arm. I'm going to start a sketch on the front plane here, and pretty simple sketch, just drawing a circle, and I'll throw in a dimension, let's see, 60 millimeters, and then just extrude that out 10 millimeters. Again, eventually we're going to be mounting another motor to this little extrusion here. From here, I'm going to create a sketch on maybe the front face here, create a new sketch, and maybe jump normal to my front face here. Fairly simple sketch again, I'll just draw a corner rectangle, something about this, give it a few dimensions here. Let's say thickness of 10. Length here, 80 millimeters, and then I'm going to make sure that, yes, this looks to be tangent on my edge. I'm also going to make sure that it's directly vertical with my origin point here. And now I should see my sketch turning black, so it's a fully-defined sketch, and then I'll just extrude this portion. Make sure it's going in the right…
