Designing with blocks

- [Instructor] Blocks are non-solving sketch entities, and we can connect those blocks together to simulate different mechanisms. Right here on the screen, I've got a simple mechanism that I want to create. So right over here is a fork, like what you'd see on a forklift. And here's a couple other arms that we can use to connect that together. And we can see what we can do to create these connections from one part to the next. The first thing I need to do is to create a grouping of several of the sketch elements into a block. So the first thing I want to do is select all these entities here, which happen to be part of the fork. Now, I want to go ahead and create a block from there. So I'm going to say, Make Block. And then go ahead and click on OK. So now just that segment of the sketch is a block. Now I want to grab this line here and then hold down the Control on my keyboard and select this other line here, and…
