Detach Segment on Drag

- [Instructor] Now, by default, the sketch settings for segments to detach are not on, so what that means is, as I grab an entity and drag it and move it along, it stays attached to the other entities that it's touching. If I go up to Tools, Sketch Settings, and turn on Detach Segment on Drag, what that's going to do is give me the ability to grab a segment and literally just drag it wherever I want, all over the screen like I was doing a move feature. And you can see here, it doesn't necessarily maintain all of the relations it has. In this case, it is maintaining its perpendicularity and allowing me to drag it. So, you can see, I can just basically start grabbing entities and dragging them all over the place. Sometimes this is a useful option to have on when you just want to move one specific entity, an arch, a hole, something like that, and you've got it connected to 13 other points and you don't want to have this kind of thing going on.
