Dimensioning holes and curved features
- When dimensioning holes on a SolidWorks drawing, we've got a couple of great tools we can work with. The first one is the Hole Call Out and it's right up here click on that and then come down any hole you'd like to define and click on the outside of it and notice right here we get the size of the drill, we've got the distance that were going to be counter boring it and we've all this other information here, that goes in here. So I've got a through hole this 180, I've got another hole that is 300 wide, dase is only going to .350 and sometimes this is a little bit confusing. I'm like, I'm not exactly sure what's happening here right. So when you get to something that you're not entirely sure of, it's a good idea to kind of sliced that hole in half and see what's going on there. So a quick way to do that is to add another Drawing Views, so right over here click on this view here, go up to Drawings, go to Projected View,…
