- [Instructor] For this tip, I want to show you how to use the Delete Hole command. Now, you can see over here, we've got a few different surfaces here on my screen. And I'm going to go ahead and jump over to my Direct Editing toolbar, and the first thing I want to do is delete a face, so click on Delete Face, and I'm going to choose this green cylinder here, and just go ahead and delete that out. Now I have a couple holes in the surface and I want to patch them up. So it's pretty straightforward and easy to do. Now in recent SOLIDWORKS they've actually added the Delete Hole command, but before that, it was actually there, but hidden. So you can use it either way. So the first thing I want to show you is just choosing this edge. Just choose the edge of the hole, and hit delete on your keyboard, and if you do, it says, "Hey, do you want to delete this entire feature, "or do you want to delete just that hole?" So I want to click on Delete the Hole, click OK, bam, that easy. So, it's…
