- [Instructor] There are multiple ways for creating slots inside of SolidWorks. To get into and learn about 'em, Let's go ahead and create a sketch, which I've already done. Head up here to the sketch tool bar and right over here you can see I've got these straight slot. And if you click on the little tool down here I've got the straight slot. I've got the center point straight slot. I've got the three point arc slot as well as the center point arc slot. So let's start with the very first one here. Pretty straightforward, click where you want to start click where you want to end and then define what the radius is or the size or width of the slot. And notice over here on the left you can see the different slot types right over here. And if you hit the A key, you can switch between the different styles of those and how you'd like to add dimensions. Right? So over here, you can automatically add these in, click where…
