Equation-based model changes

- [Instructor] One of the things you're going to see fairly common on the exam is to take a part and then just modify a few of the equations and then weigh the part and type in that value or choose one of the multiple choice answers. Now generally, the way the exam's laid out is first, they're going to give you a multiple-choice question. That's generally going to be one of the first questions you see on the exam, to make sure you built the part correctly. So if your value of the mass of the part you've created doesn't match one of those four choices, generally you've done something wrong and everything after that will be wrong because the part was created incorrectly. So make sure you get an exact value of one of the four multiple choice questions. Then as you go through the exam, they're going to ask you to modify some of those equations to build the part in a different shape or just modify the height of it or the width of it or something like that, and then weigh it again.
