- [Instructor] Equations is one of those skills that's going to make it very easy for us to transition our part from question to question in the exam. To get started with equations, we want to make sure we've got a couple things turned on inside of SOLIDWORKS. Over here on the left, you can see I have a folder called Equations. That might not be showing up on your computer so let's make sure that it does. Go up to the top, right-click, click on Hidden Tree Items and then click on Hide/Show Tree Items. You can see I have one called Equations here and I have it, by default, showing. But you might have it as automatic or hidden, so make sure that it says Show there and then click OK. Then I can right-click on My Equations and click on Manage Equations and I'll get the equation editor that pops up here. I also have the option to add a toolbar here, so you can see over here on the right-hand side I have a toolbar and there is the equations tab, so it just jumps right into there. So, easy…
