Explode blocks

- [Instructor] Depending on what you're using the block for in your design, at some point, you might want to explode the block. And exploding the block is basically dissolving it back into the sketch entities that it was originally. For example, this cutout that I have right here, if I was going to put this cutout into CNC machine part, or output a flat pattern DXF, the DXF and DWG writer is not going to see the block and be able to write that as a polyline that it needs to be so you're going to want to go ahead and right click on that block and just hit explode. And all that does is it explodes it back to the original entities that you used to build it. Now, it doesn't explode all the other blocks, so you'll have to do them one at a time if that's what you need to do. So, this is important when you're doing engraving type of work, if you're working with CNC or router table workers and programmers and they're trying to get their code right and get tool pads assigned to these items.
