Feature Paint

- [Instructor] SolidWorks gives us the ability to copy and paste a lot of features and entities in between different spaces in the SolidWorks GUI. One of the coolest ways to do this though is with Feature Paint. Feature Paint allows you to copy feature parameters from one feature to another, and this can even be between two parts all together. In this example, I've got two very simple parts that have two counterbore holes drilled into them using the Hole Wizard and I'm going to make it so that I paint the size of one feature to the size of the other feature. The parameters that you can affect with this are depth, color, texture and optical properties, including ambience and specularity. Alright, I'm going to go ahead and go up to tools. Go to the drop-down where it says Feature Paint. And I'm going to zoom in and click on this counterbore. Now you can see in the task pane over here, I'm copying the properties from this feature and now I'm going to paste them over to another feature…
