- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to be covering adding fixtures to our part and I do want to point out that every time I close and open a SOLIDWORKS document, SimulationXpress automatically gets turned off so we are going to have to turn that on every time we go back into a brand new part. It's not going to show up with that tool bar shown for you so I do want to point that out. Now go up here to SimulationXpress one more time. We already answered some of these questions as far as our unit, but they get reset automatically inside of SOLIDWORKS so let's go back and make sure we're choosing the inch pound second system and click OK and then click on Next and now we're down here into Fixtures. So we have the option of adding a fixture and it does give us a little bit of a warning here saying you can add fixed holes or fixed versus supported or fixed versus attached parts in the full version of SOLIDWORKS Simulation.
