- [Instructor] If you haven't played with magnetic mates in a while, or if you have no idea what a magnetic mate is, you're in for a treat. Now magnetic mates are a super easy way to connect components together, and all you need to do is add a connection point so you can easily drag and drop and move and configure your components, almost like Legos on your computer screen, so it's pretty straightforward. All you need to do is grab a component. Now like this one here, if I get close to another dot, like a pink or purple dot there, you can see there's a little line in those. If I let go, it just snaps into place. If you don't like that mate, grab it and slide it apart and it's just that easy to break the mate, so it's very easy to add and remove those mates. Now if you want to add a new component, we can show you how to do that by using the asset publisher.
