Geometric tolerance

- [Narrator] For this example, we're not going to focus on geometric tolerancing specifically, but how to initiate the feature and use the feature inside of solid works. So if we go up here to the annotation tab in the middle, we find geometric tolerance. If we turn this on, we can create a geometric tolerance blocks with all of the symbols, tolerances, primary and secondary references available to us. So if I want to really quick, we start with a symbol. We have straightness, flatness, circularity, all the other geometric features that are called out. I'm going to select flatness. We can put in our tolerance manually. I'm going to go 0.1. And then after that, we can select another symbol that relates to that either maybe a maximum material condition, maybe a free state, whatever, depending on how you want to inspect and hold the tolerance on this part.
