Get started with the Hole Wizard
- [Instructor] The Hole Wizard allows us to add industry-standard holes to our parts and it also has a great library of the sizes and all the individual dimensions and features that go into each one of those styles of holes, and let me show you how it works. So first, I'm going to choose a face. And that's important to choose that face first before you jump into the Hole Wizard. All right, as soon as I have the Hole Wizard opened up, notice I have a bunch of different hole types. So right up here is the counter bored, I have a countersunk hole, I have just a simple hole, a regular hole. Here I have a tapped hole. And I have tapered tapped hole, I have all these different types. I even have slots down here. So the most common type of hole you're probably going to use is either counter bore or a tapped hole, or maybe countersink. So the first three here are probably the most common.
