- [Tutor] The Hole Wizard is a feature inside of SolidWorks, that allows us to add industry standard size holes to our parts. We can add tapped holes, we can have countersunk holes, counterbored holes, and so many more. So, to get started using the tool, let's go ahead and choose a surface. Now, I definitely recommend choosing the surface ahead of time, that you'd like to put the holes onto. So, notice I'm choosing the top surface of my part right here and then come up here under features, and come over here to Hole Wizard. Click on that. Right now we got the Hole Wizard opened up and you can see we've got a bunch of different options here. The first option here is, what type of hole would I like. Would I like a counterbored hole or a countersunk hole? And if you just kind of hold your mouse over the hole, it's going to give you a heads up display of what we're looking at.
