Hole Alignment

- Another really handy tool inside of the SolidWorks evaluate toolbar is this hole alignment tool. Go ahead and start that one up and you see we're going to be looking at this entire assembly here. And we're looking for the center or the hole deviation, go ahead and click on calculate and notice it's finding four problems. So our maximum deviation is only five thousand seven inch, which you know, is a lot, when you're talking about having pins line up and things like that, and so yeah, you see what's really happening, so open it up, you can see, we've got this piece here and here's our deviation between those two parts. But it looks like the five thousandth's between the boards. And it looks like we're probably going to go the same thing on all these, so it's all those holes. So it's one, two, three, four different holes in the design are a little bit off, so let's go ahead and open that up and see what's happening, so click on this part here. Click on open part.
