- [Instructor] Custom annotations can be any type of annotation you might want to add to your drawings. We're going to open the Chapter 4 - Begin SolidWorks file. We're going to open the NOTES.doc file in Word. And then we're going to use Select All to select all the text. And we're going to do Control-C to copy it to the clipboard. And then select the Note tool, place the note. And then we're going to click inside the Note box, press Control-V to paste the note. We're going to set up the font, format the text, clean it up a little bit so it looks nice. And then we're going to highlight it, add some Numbering because SolidWorks now has these really nice editing tools inside it to make it easier for you to format your text. And then we're going to add it to the library. To add it to the library, you select the note, you assign a file name, verify the note's being placed in the correct folder, and type a description, and green check.
