Importing and inserting motors
- [Instructor] Now in many electromechanical designs we'll also have to import or insert electronics components such as maybe motors and PCBs and so on. And it's really the exact same process. I can just go to Insert Components and browse to whatever files I may need. In this case I'm just looking for two motors my NEMA17 and 23 which I can see here. About the only real difference may be just on the file type. A lot of electronics files, for example motors or PCBs and so on might be coming from some other third-party software, so it may not be a Solid part file, which is fine as well. We can still use them in assemblies. So I can import them to be SolidWorks files or I can just actually insert them as whatever file it may be. We can insert almost any type of 3D file, step file and so on, so I just have to navigate through this or go to all files to take a look at whatever my electronics file may be.
