- With each new release with SolidWorks SolidWorks spends a lot of time improving the software. Now because SolidWorks itself is fairly mature, they're really not adding too many brand new features but they are improving things. And this year for SolidWorks 2021, they've really spent a lot of time making the software just work better and work faster. You can work with larger assemblies in a much more efficient manner, your drawings are going to open quicker. It just a lot of things in SolidWorks they're just going to operate better but there are a few cool things they've added to the user interface. It's just going to make it a little bit nicer. So one of those things is the ability to collapse the command manager. So right up here you have the ribbon bar on top of the screen and they've added this little, little hat right here which is Collapse CommandManager, click on that and notice it just kind of goes away.
