Interference/collision detection

- [Narrator] When building an assembly there's two very useful tools. One of them is interference detection and the other is collision detection. They're going to help us to build a better model. First thing's first, let's go up to the move component tab. Now, but before we get into that let's grab this component here and slide it up and down. Notice I can slide it through the part nothing happens here, just my regular click and drag. Now if I go over to move component now I get a bunch more options of what I can do here. So a standard drag is what's on by default but I can also turn on collision detection here. As well as a bunch of other things. Click collision detection, and then ask me if I want to use all components or just special components. And then I have the option to stop at collision. So I turn that off, it allows me to drag the part and anytime anything's going to collide or hit it's going to let me know what's hitting. If I click on stop at collision it's going to stop…
