Knit Surface

- [Instructor] When working with meshes and surfaces that have breaks in them or disjoint surfaces like this one here, you're going to want to use the knit surface feature to blend them all together and try to create solid geometry. Again, typically our goal is always to make solid geometry, or at least surfaces. But because of the basic nature of this collection of surfaces, we're going to be able to knit it together. So I'm going to go up here to the surface command ribbon location and click on knit surface. Basically, this is a pretty simple tool where all you have to do is select all the surfaces that you want. So you can individually click on each one and it'll fill up the box, or you can select all of them, just by swiping over from left to right on your screen. Now you'll notice when I did that, these two options became available, create solid and merge entities. That gives me the ability to turn this into solid geometry.
