Knit surface
- [Instructor] On the exam you might be given a series of different surfaces and you might need to knit them together so you can get the surface area of the final part. Or you might need to trim them first and then measure them. So let me show you how to do some basic trimming and then knitting of surfaces. So right over here you can see we've got kind of a weird hodge-podge of surfaces here. They don't look that great so we want to fix them up a little bit so we're getting to a nice shape. So right over here you can see this surface here actually was used to trim away this hole on the top of this part here. So we might want to use that, we might not, but let me show you how to just save this interior part here. So if I go over here to trim surface right there I'm going to say I would like to use my trim tool which is going to be this down here actually. So get rid of that, so delete that out of there.
