Linking drawing notes to custom properties
- In this example, I'm going to show you how to create links to custom properties. First thing I want to do is come over here and edit my sheet formats. So right-click on my sheet format and say edit sheet format. And notice everything turns blue down here at the bottom. Now if you click on each one of these things, you can actually hover over it and notice it gives you this kind of cryptic thing, it says like $PRPSHEET and so on, and that is the actual link back to that custom property in your actual file. So if you want to create a brand new one of those, what you need to do is go over here to annotation, come over here to note, and then select a note and place it on your drawing. Now let's go ahead, instead of typing anything out, let's go over here and look at the different things we can do. The first thing I can do is actually insert a hyperlink.
