Linking drawing notes

- [Instructor] On SolidWorks drawings, we can create links back to custom properties of the individual part that's shown on the screen. To do that, we want to first edit the sheet format. So I'm going to right-click here anywhere on the sheet and say Edit Sheet Format, and now we're modifying the actual sheet format. Notice it turns blue, and if you actually mouse over or hover over some of the information on the sheet, notice I get that little dollar sign PRP sheet. I'll see if I can get it to pop back up. You kind of mouse right over it. Or any one of these other ones here. So notice that dollar sign PRP SolidWorks file name and so on. So that is the cryptic name behind there that is linked to that part. So to create that little link between the custom property and this label orientation here, we need to go over here to Annotation, come over here to Note, create a new note, but instead of typing it in, right,…
