Linking to layout sketches

- When you start a brand new assembly, you have the ability to add a layout sketch. Now you can turn the layout sketch on by going to the top icon here, right clicking, and going down here to layout. Once I'm in the layout mode, I can then use the sketch tool to define whatever shape I want, to define this piece. Once you have what you want, go ahead and exit out of the layout sketch, and I can use that to then layout my individual parts. I want to bring in an assembly now, and bring in a blank part. I have a part already open called 13.2.1 and you can see there's nothing in this part, it's just a blank part. I click on tile horizontally, I'm going to drag that part directly into my assembly, and place it in there. Generally the first part you bring into an assembly is automatically going to be in a fixed state. I want to turn that to float, so I'm going to click over here on the part, and notice that little f in the beginning means it's fixed, and I'm going to right click on it and…
