List References and Find References
- Sometimes, when you're working in an assembly, you want to verify that all the parts and subassemblies contained there in it are coming from the right directory in Windows Explorer. Sometimes, you'll accidentally make a copy of a file and actually be working off a file in a different location and you can't tell. Let's take a quick look at listing references and finding references, and see how that can help us. So, if I go over here to the top of the feature tree and just right click on the top item and go down, you can hit List External References. So, this is gonna give me all of the references that are inside of this assembly that are external. So, you can see here that there are some in-context references to build these parts, and then also some references that have been broken and are out of context, but refer, still, back to their assemblies.
