Looking at the Flange tool
- [Narrator] In this movie, we're gonna be using the sheet metal flange tool. So it's exactly the same icon we used last time, which is the base flange tab icon right up here, but instead of using your base, which is an enclosed boundary, we're gonna use a flange, which is an open profile. So to get started we need to create a sketch just like we do normally. So we can choose either the tool first, or we can choose one of the basic planes. In this case I'm gonna use the top plane and just right click over here and say sketch and it'll start a sketch on that plane. Alright, now what we want to do is again we want to tie into the origin and then define a shape. So let's get started with a line tool. I'm gonna start right at the origin and go over to the right here and I'm gonna make just a simple L-shape. So instead of creating an enclosed boundary, notice we just have a couple of different lines. Now, of course we can define this with dimensions if we need to, but right now let's just…
