Looking at normal cuts

- [Narrator] This week, we're gonna be looking at what a normal cut is. So I've got a sheet metal part here laid out and I've got a circle drawn. It's gonna be cutting part way through the part and I wanna go ahead and just do a basic extruded cut. So let's go ahead and choose this sketch I already have there and type in one inch is fine. And I'm gonna go ahead and turn Normal cut off. And this is the tool we're gonna be looking at. Or this little check mark so turn that off. And click on okay and what it is, it just cuts that circle directly into the part and stops there but notice this angle here. So we gotta kinda like, ya know, whatever that angle is, maybe 60 degree angle on the side and it's cutting through it. This is an example if you had a sheet metal part and then after it was already bent, you're gonna take it and put it into a milling machine and mill this cylindrical profile into it.
