- [Instructor] The lofted cut tool works very similar to a regular loft, but instead of creating geometry itself, we are cutting away that geometry. So over here, I've got a block and on one side of the block, I drew a simple rectangle with some rounded corners on it, and the other side of the block, I drew a circle. So here's my sketch one, and here's my sketch two. I just sketched two and three, but going from that one to this one, and here's my original block. So obviously, you have to have something to cut away if you're going to be doing a lofted cut. And then head up over here to lofted cut. Click on this one here. And this tool works literally identical to the regular loft. All right I'm going to choose my profiles. I'm going to choose this one here, and it's going to go to this one over here.
