Mate parts together in an assembly

- [Josh] Mates allow us to take individual parts that are in assembly and then combine them together into a mated assembly. Everything's locked together in a certain way, and there's multiple ways to create mates. And the first thing you need to do is get an assembly started, go ahead and bring in the parts that you want to put together. And now come up here under the assembly tool bar, grab the mate tool right up here, and then notice that we got a bunch of standard mates. I have the coincidence, parallel, perpendicular and so on. I also had these advanced mates here, which have a little bit more, more, more power. And then beyond that I have mechanical mates, things like slots and cams and hinges and gears. We've got a lot of options of how we can create mates, but I'm going to start here with these standard mates. Now, coincidence is your most common mate, and you don't need to choose that ahead of time, right?…
