- [Instructor] Let's talk about preparing mesh files. Now I have a file up here that is a scanned file and I opened up in the scanned 3D add-in for SolidWorks. And if you aren't familiar with how to do that, check out my tip from last week which will show you how to bring in that file and open it up. But it's pretty straightforward, you just go under file, open and then make sure down here you're actually choosing instead of all files, choose the scan to 3D mesh files and that'll allow to bring it and you also this scan this 3D point club files. So a couple of options there, so If you open that up you'll process through it and you'll get something that looks like this. Now in this tip, I'm going to go through and show you about working with the tool scan to 3D and we're going to use the Mesh Prep Wizard.
