Mirror the rear triangle parts
- [Instructor] At the start of this chapter, we mentioned that the rear triangle is actually a double triangle. The parts that we've already made are mirrored over to the opposite side and this is something we can easily do in solid works. Open the assembly that we'd been working on and we're going to mirror over these three parts. The chainstay, the seatstay and the rear dropout. Go to the assembly tab and click on the dropdown underneath linear component pattern and select mirror components. First, we need to select the mirror plane. This is where the parts will be mirrored about and this will be the right plane of the assembly. So expand this feature tree, select the right plane and make sure it's in that box there. Then we need to choose what we actually want to mirror. So click in this components to mirror and then just click on those three parts. So we've got the seatstay, the chainstay and the rear dropout.…
