Mirroring and patterning assemblies

- The final step in building this building is going to be to pattern this weldment of the roof assembly across the top of the structure here. I'm calling it assembly but it's really not, it's really just a single part which is a multi-body part in a weldment. And you can see it's part here 3.3-2. That makes it very easy to work with. So click on that part here, come up to assembly, click on "linear", and click on "patterns" and I want to choose my direction as this direction here along the I-beam. And as far my components to pattern I want this one here and as far as how many I want let's try here, six feet. Not six inches but six feet. See what happens. Alright that's a little bit bigger than what we need, so let's try five feet. Closer, four feet. And what I'm looking for here is to have a little bit of an overlap. And you can see here these are overlapping. Now it probably wouldn't be exactly like this when you actually build the building because you have an overlapping seam, one…
