- [Instructor] Now that we finished the assembly we just go to very quickly run back through the model to recap everything and show how you could further develop this in the future. So we started with the PCB STEP file and we imported this into SolidWorks and saved it as a SolidWorks part file. And then we use this to create a SolidWorks assembly, to the assembly we added a new part the enclosure parent part and this part initially was just a single sketch all the way around the PCB and we use this with a mid plane extrude to create this block. Then we use the Phillip tool to round off the corners and we hollowed it out using a shell feature and by adding the shell feature after the Phillip feature it allows us to have these internal rounded corners. Next we used a split feature to split this into two new parts. We hit this parent part in the assembly and then we added in those two new child parts and by doing it…
