Modifying texture properties

The textural materials can effect the look and feel of a surface. When working with renderings light bounces of the surface. Depending on how smooth the surface is, more or less of the light is reflected off. There are also materials like wood that have a grain and texture, and we can adjust the scale and texture based on the application. To get started, we want to apply a material to this back inlay here. So I'm going to click on that part, I'm going to click on open. And you can see there's my part. Now there's no material been applied to this right now, so let's go ahead and try to do that. So right-click on it say, Edit material. And, let's come down to some different type of materials. This case here I'm going to look at woods. Woods are kind of interesting because they have a grain structure to them. It's a little different from different materials like metal or plastic.
