Modifying your post processor

- [Instructor] If you want to modify your post processor, it's generally fairly easy, but you do need to have some understanding of computer programming. The basic post processor is a JavaScript based program, so let me show you how that works. Go over here to select this job, post process. And then come up here, under setup, click on that one there. And we can choose to use a personal post library, if you want to. And if we make a modification to our post, we're, pretty much, going to be putting it in our own library, so you're going to want to switch over to that. But for right now, let's go ahead and leave that off. Right over here I can say open configuration, so it's using this post right here and open that one up. And as you can see, this is the actual post processing file. This is a text file, basically, with information for HSM, on how to translate what it knows inside of the computer into G-code for whatever machine you happen to be choosing.
