Navigating in the 3D workspace

- When you first open a document inside of SOLIDWORKS or create your own, I want to go over the basic navigation in the 3D world. First things first, we need to make sure we have a mouse with a center mouse wheel. If you push directly down on that mouse wheel, that gives us the ability to rotate our model right and left or up and down, depending if you slide your mouse up and down the screen, or right or left. If you scroll, it will scroll in. If you scroll out, it will scroll out the model. Now it will always scroll to where your mouse cursor happens to be. So if you want to see this hole right here, put your cursor in the middle of that hole, and keep it in the middle of that hole and you'll zoom right in. If you want to see this back corner right here, you can zoom in by keeping your mouse cursor directly on that corner. Then you'll zoom it right back out.
