- [Instructor] Once you have a document open inside of SOLIDWORKS, the next thing we're going to learn about is how to move that model around your screen. So, the first thing I want to point out is we need to have a three-button mouse. Now, that middle mouse or scroll mouse button, if you hold that down and push down on the scroll button, you then can move and rotate this model around on your screen. If you move it up and down, it moves it like this. If you go right to left, it spins it around. Now, if you scroll the mouse, you can actually just zoom in and zoom out. And it scrolls to wherever your cursor happens to be. If your cursor happens to be way over here and you scroll, it's going to scroll way over there. If you go over here, it's going to go over there. If you want to scroll directly into the model, hold your cursor directly over the part and then just go ahead and zoom in or zoom out.
